Holiday

Ah...!
Yet another 1 week holidays has passed. What have i done?! IDK. Perhaps one of the most boring holiday i've ever had! Still, at least i got enough rest the whole week, sleeping for at least 10 hours per day. Weee~!

I seriously couldnt think of anything else to do apart from sleeping! Yes, many would say go la outing with your friends, go do some sports, go for trips la..bla bla bla... Problem is.. i don't have many close friends left here in KL! UK seems to be a better place eh? (Emo-ing)

At least for one year, gone are the days for mamak-ing, playing pool, futsal... (Still emo-ing)
First time during holidays, i can't find a single person to hang out with! sigh! Now it's really frightening when i think about december. How am i gonna spend the entire december?! Also thought about february, no more bai nian group??!! How about next may and june??!!

What to do. Life is like that. Now im just hoping to make myself busy every holiday from now on. (EMO)

Adidas Season Clearance Sales

Nothing much to update recently, coz my current holiday is.. erm.. BORING? Apart from facebook-ing and watching drama series, I have nothing else to do! No outings, no trips.. sad huh? It's freakin' miserable la!!! Kepong people, where are you guys la??!!

Okay, so yesterday night was online-ing, then suddenly pengying asked me whether wana go for the Adidas Warehouse Sales at Atria or not (actually she needed someone to fetch her go only.. and I'm the obvious target who was online that time.. LOL) I was like.. erm.. sure or not? Coz the previous time i went to Atria with my coursemates for some so-called Nik* (privacy reason.. hahaz) warehouse sales, which turned out to be more like rojak sales, only few pair of Nike (oops~!) shoes + whole lots of other ciplak brand (no offence) + other stuffs like baby diapers.. Ya! DIAPERS!

So at first don't wanna go lo.. thinking that it would be more or less the same thing like last time.. But then, i need sport shoes wor, so what the heck, check and see online la..

Okay.. so the poster looks kinda convincing (not hard to convince me eh?) OK. On. Asked See Toh to go along also, then decided to go at 10am since pengying takut later no more sizes left for her.. (=.=''')

Pengying's bro actually ditched her and went earlier at 9am.. but the thing is the sales only starts at 10am! Then, her bro told her peoples are already lining up outside the shopping complex! Mind you, the shopping complex also only opens at 10am leh! So i was like.. hmm.. this sales might be the REAL thing.. excited pulak.. LOL

Waseh! Have to line up just to get in leh! And the queue... so damn long... We waited like half an hour only get to line up till the front entrance!! Typical Malaysian people.. got cheap stuffs = many aunties.. Can see people snag clothes like dogs finding food from trashcans.. no offense.. hahaz

1st Year in 1st College, UM

Today, 10/05/09, is the last official day of my first year life, a first year life filled with unexpected fun and great memories! To mark this occasion, i've decided to write a post about my 1st year life.
*Spoiler : It's gonna be a long post, so brace yourself for it!

It was not long ago, 10 and a half months to be exact, when i first stepped into First Residential College, UM. Then, i was a local city boy, first time staying outside of home, and worse of all, there ain't many people that i knew in my residential college the first day i went in. You could imagine how helpless i was. At that point, i was already looking forward to moving back home after the week. To make matters worse, the first week was Minggu Haluansiswa, a.k.a. Orientation Week, where it was rumoured that 1st year freshies was to be ragged during that week. I was like..ok lar..whatever la..actually was pretty much awaiting for it. During that week, we only had minimal sleep, doing cheers, ulang alik between DTC to college, fac to college and much more. I have to say, despite all that, it was good fun! To others maybe not, to me, it was something i would never forget. I still can recall our PM did their best to get us to DTC on the last day, although we did not get inside, it was a great feeling just to be there where most of us shouted our lungs out for one last cheer performance! 1st college power! During the week, from feeling helpless to happy, having few friends to many more, it made me change my mind from moving out after the first week. One of the best decision i made! =)

1st week of academic week. Nothing much happened, some lectures not even started yet. Boring week throughout. One notable thing though, we had to pick buddy, well.. not pick.. more of drawing lots. And so, there's my buddy - Michael. Self-proclaimed engtaukia. UNFORTUNATELY, i started to inherit his pattern and style. Gosh! But still, gotta thank him, if wasn't for him, i would not know that many people as i did!

Fast forward to Minggu Mesra Pelajar, where we as the first years would get a chance to know more seniors through interaction games and so on. We were introduced to 1st college CC (Chinese Community) as well, where we as the chinese students, would get to know each other more through activities. Before I entered UM, i knew that i had to change, from being a social-shy person to a much more sociable person, so that's where i jump at the opportunity to know more people...through CC! In a short period of time, i'm glad to know many great, friendly and funny seniors. They are people who are glad just to know you, unlike most of the city peoples out there who wants to know you just because you would be useful to them. I would say it was them who convinced me to stay in college further beyond the first semester, maybe even till the day i graduate. All hail first college seniors!

Next up was the first CC activity, Senior Freshies Night! The name says it all.. another opportunity for senior and juniors to mix together! Not knowing anything, we were conned into wearing formal that day! And to dance in a hall so hot that my sweat was dripping like heavy rain..! Great fun throughout, the event gave us a warm feeling, the feeling of everyone in one big family!

CC convo soon followed in the month of August 08, where freshly graduated super seniors attended their convo that week. We, as first college CC members, was responsible for tossing them high up to mark their graduation! I admit, i hardly got the chance to toss people, hahaz.. but just by seeing others doing it, it is already fun enough! It just gives you some extra motivation to stay in college until your final year so that you'd get tossed when you graduate, well..at least it made me feel that way!

CC dinner followed.. and then there was the first college project i was involved in - Malam Pesta Tanglung, where i was in Biro Tajaan. During this project, we, the first years, started to learn more about selling dedication and tshirts, and also buying them. Hahaz! Was a little disappointed because there wasn't much to do in my biro, still.. the project itself was a success! Enjoyed the night walk with lanterns! No photos to show though.. =(

September arrived.. and so.. the first CC trip for us.. to Kuantan!! At first i was thinking whether to join or not since there were not many close friends that went.. Still, i've decided to give it a shot, and poof! No regrets! During the trip, i made more friends, and also able to experience the fun of going to trips! The joy of everybody having fun together was truly remarkable! I was not a big fan of trips before this, but this trip totally changed me! One notable thing that i learned, playing killer! Hahaz! Anyone irritated by me playing killer, don't blame me, blame the trip!

Next up.. sem 1 exams! Wasn't feeling much pressure though, maybe cause the subjects was not that heavy.. I still remember how i sacrificed my study time at home and went back to college just for a game of football!! Big mistake!! That night before i was going to sleep.. riiiiing!! FIRE DRILL!!! oww shiittt!!!

Sem 1 exam came and went.. very quickly.. less than a week time.. Huge relief! Finally sem 1 is settled! My holiday started belatedly because i still had to stay back to finish up banners for Astar Caring Day! And also pity those people who got kacau-ed by me during that time when they were still having their exams..hahaz! Sorry ya..it's my nature to irritate people!

End of december.. marks the beginning of semester 2! Eagerly awaiting to return to college, so that i could meet up with friends and start my usual supper nights! Almost immediately came my second project, Astar Caring Day! The project was great, and better still, that's when i started to know more 1st years friends! I've learned a lot from this project, and all the hard work was worthwhile!!

SUKMUM followed.. Learned how to play squash.. finally! Buddy's project, Fiesta Hari Terbuka was next, absolutely great project! I have to say, it was one of the best so far! All about having fun, just what i like the most! Sort-of performed for the first time on stage, and what a great experience it was! Regret not joining the project though. Could been more fun. =(

CC activities such as tang yuan festival and reunion dinner followed.. Reunion dinner was a great occasion! Biggest CC activity of the year and i'm the proud winner of the ji-zha category! hahaz! Nothing to be proud of though... image spoilt edi.. just like my buddy.. haiz! More info please refer to the previous post.. now let the pictures do the talking..

Preparation for Malam Penganugerahan Astar (MPA) fasa 1 and 2 soon came by.. This period was the most stressful time of the entire semester i have to say. Juggling time for projects and studies were tough, well..that is if you were me. Because I'm always going for perfection in my academic, doing assignments and reports took out a large chunk of my time but at the same time, i need to take out time for MPA2, the project i'm involved in. Making the gimmick was no easy job, and most often we were forced to do till late at nite. Time were lacking and sleep wasn't enough for that few weeks. Still, i'm glad that i've passed through this tough time, as i've gained more than what i lost. I've learned to be tougher, and also started to realise that I need to be less kiasu in my studies.

I had many firsts during this semester, and one of those is first time handling a mixer during MPA1, while dutying for Technical Club. Before this, if you asked me to handle some technical stuffs, i would chicken out at the very first moment, but surprisingly, i gave it a try and was very satisfied that i've learned another new thing. Although particularly stressful, it was a good experience, considering i was a total noobie in technical stuffs before this. The event was made even sweeter for me when i was named Best Adhoc for Astar Caring Day! Big thank you for ACD director, wai yan!

Next up was MPA2. Biggest project of 1st college held at Crowne Plaza Hotel. You could see the stressful faces of everyone involved, including me. Everyone wanted the project to go well as it was the biggest! The event was well prepared, but somehow luck wasnt with us. Still, i had fun taking pictures everywhere with everyone! The experience of having a big event in a grand hotel, you won't get it anywhere! One regret though, not getting myself a nice mask and some nicer clothes. =(

So, all projects were done. Time to focus on studies? No! CC Pangkor Trip!! Hooray!! This trip was organised by first years..and what a trip it was! Many seniors even said that it was one of the best! To me, it is the best! It was the first time i've been to beaches since i was like..a kid? Everybody there was enjoying themselves, so did i!! Playing along with a bunch of great friends was even better!! Throwing people down the water, cycling at night, riding speed boat, posing for cameras, non stop crappings... truly memorable!

Then, there was one more final hurdle. Finals! One quick walk to AIA, you could see everybody was mugging like mad. Not me, surprisingly. I decided not to be too kiasu, and obviously i did not work hard for this finals. Regret? Maybe not..not yet. After this few months of uni life, i realised that there are more things in uni than just to study study and study! Uni life is meant to enjoy! After 2 weeks of battle with exams, finally.. Perhentian Trip! Wasn't supposed to be there at first, but really gotta thank the bunch of pharmacy people for allowing us to tag along! You guys are the best! Felt like it was just yesterday where we had fun at Perhentian! Hopefully there will be more with u guys soon!

Redang/ Perhentian/ Lang Tengah

Finally ended my finals on saturday, didn't have time to update my blog though, coz.. i was at redang!!! Woohoo!!! Exam end = fun begins!!! 16 people in total, 13 gals from pharmacy, 3 guys from civil.. hahaz.. XD

After some fighting over taxis and crapping at the Mall's McD, we got on the double decker bus heading to Kuala Besut jetty.

Once on the bus, expect the worse from me.. kesian my partner sitting beside me, had to endure my non stop crapping until i finally fell asleep..hahaz

Day 1:
Finally after a bumpy bus ride for 8 hours, finally reached Besut jetty and waited till 7.30am before hopping onto speed boat.. Yea~ speed boat!! Love it to bits!!! Arrived at Perhentian Island, where we stayed at Flore Resort.. 2 star only.. >.<

Went for snorkeling at 1pm at long beach and duno where else (4gt the names edi).. damn excited though i totally do not know how to swim..!! Being a total noobie, end up swimming way behind everybody else.. HAIZ! Snorkeling was a blast! Manage to get a close look at fishes and corals, though i missed the turtles and sharks due to my snail-like-speed-dog-style-swimming...hahaz! I gotta admit, i was totally flat out by evening, swimming is super duper tiring!! After snorkeling, we returned to perhentian island and played beach volleyball, where our so-called 谐星team played against so-called 偶像team..haha.. Guess wat? We, proudly as 谐星won!! Clap clap!!

We planned for an activity-filled night time, burgers for supper, watching 'naga', camp-fire, card games and killer in the room..but it rained b4 we could do all those..sigh.. Still, we had a long walk to arwana resort, supposedly the most high-class resort at perhentian.. End up spending the night playing cards and smacking people's hand..hahaz

Day 2:
First destination, Redang! Went for some souvenir-hunting plus some photo-takings before going for snorkeling... again!! Visited the famous More More Tea Inn also!!

Snorkeling at redang was hell-tiring for me.. swam too far into the sea.. end up having to take 'taxi' back..how embarassing..haizz.. Next stop, Marine Park! The sea here was great.. totally clear.. get 2 c lotsa stuffs here.. eels, fishes, corals, etc etc... Get to see sharks and nemo fishes also!!! Totally worth it although terminum lotsa salt water..!!! But gotta admit, i hav 2 build up my stamina before another trip to beaches again...hahaz!

Evening time was a rematch of 谐星vs 偶像volleyball match..we won...AGAIN!! Give so much water yet still win...hahazz!! Regret not taking videos of the 偶像team doing Bubba Busta cheer! Still, many people kena '做掉' and convo-styled dumped into the water! I did a 360 sumore leh!Ended the day with a BBQ dinner and long-winded stories by one of the tour guides..hahaz!

Day 3:

Last day of our trip.. Kinda sad.. Luckily we still have activities 2day - Jungle Trekking!! Climbing hill after hill made me sweat like mad.. and got multiple cuts on my arm and legs.. well, at least it left a mark to prove that i've been there! hahaz!

We left perhentian heavy-heartedly and arrived at Besut jetty.. Since our bus back to KL will only arrive at 8.30pm, we went for more sight-seeing at Besut, looking at crabs, fishes, and finally an amazing beach, 4got wats the name..should be sth like teluk keluang i tink..hahaz!

Phew~! 3 days trip finally came to an end..felt like everything was just a couple of hours ago while writing this... This trip really brought great memories with great friends, great places and uber fun...! Happy and sad at the same time..happy coz totally enjoyed the trip wif crazy friends..sad coz have to leave edi..and at the same time many already going home on the same day.. C ya all next sem! Gonna miss the fun wif u guys!!

Pangkor Trip!!!

Dang dang dang dang!!! Our 2nd sem CC trip has finally arrived!!! Due to my love for CC (hahaz), i've decided to write this post in mandarin..yeah~

4月4日来临了，又是我们第一宿舍嘻嘻的trip到来的时间！！开心喂。。这次我们将会去的地方是Pulau Pangkor！！自从上一回的trip，我一直期待着这个2nd sem CC trip，因为又有机会让我疯疯癫癫的度过这个sem！！在trip里无须面对考试和读书的压力，可以玩的痛痛快快！！

坦白说，当时听见这次的trip只有40+人参与，真的有点失望，比起上次的百多个，的确。。不过当时没去理会这个问题，看见organiser们那么的辛苦，再加上又是1st year的batchmate organise，怎样都得捧场咯！结果出来，1st year 的organiser果然好料！这次的trip真的很爽，大家都玩得很开心，相信永远永远我都忘不了这个trip!!

当天早上3点我们就得集合了，而兴奋的我连睡都没睡，一路等到3点的到来。在等待巴士时，当然忘不了先拍照咯！身穿很yeng 的tshirt的我（哈哈），骗了有不少的‘受害者’。。嘻嘻

接着就要上巴士咯，原本跟seiko坐的我，最后还是被抛弃了。。不过人家要on 了嘛，所以我当然不敢乱乱来咯。。哈哈。。闷闷的就在巴士过了几个钟。。

终于，8点多到码头了，快点拍照先。。嘻嘻。。等了又等。。10点多才真真踏入Pangkor！！开心喂。。吃完早餐，就搭mini van去屋子整理自己。。过后就去海边！！！

yeah~ 我们还出海咧！！坐着快艇，大家一路上唱歌，大喊大叫，够力爽！！导游也废废的，再加上buddy就更加废，不过废得大家都很开心！！导游也让我们下去海边玩，够力了咯，男生全部像发神经酱，下到去全部就开始喷水，还轮流被丢下海。。有够凄凉的咧。。我还被terry像wwf酱丢下海。。唉。。有些不辛的还被脱裤子咧！

出完海后，还有时间玩station game咧！爽！我的最爱！不过好像玩的时后一直被喷水罢了。。玩到像落汤鸡酱。。开心开心开心！！！接着癫癫的5个人，连凉都还没冲就全身湿湿的骑着脚车上山看日落。。那边的日落蛮美的咧！

有点后悔去骑脚车，回到屋时要拍队冲凉咧！！够力夸张！我还几乎是最后一个冲！唉！吃完晚才餐可见很多人开始倒了，可怜咧！可是到了游戏和分享的时候，大家又精神回起来。。嘻嘻的人好料喂！可以像suis酱on off on off睡了又醒。。醒了又睡。。分享的时候可见大家对这次trip都很满意，再次谢谢organiser们！！虽然我没说出口，可是我真的很享受这次trip，也很感激这班organiser 为我带来酱好的回忆！12点钟，就是4月5日，也就是我buddy的生日，就帮他庆祝一下，同时间经过他一番话，我们又有了新的口头禅-‘开心就好’。。

吃完糖水，大家就到沙滩去看所谓的‘蓝眼泪’，脚车gang在路上乱乱来（应该只是我而已，哈哈），那些cheras人不懂会不会骑脚车，人家骑直直，她就骑S型。。-.-''' 骑着骑着，还给我们遇到mat rempit，赶快跑掉，结果转location去supper。。supper完结果回去玩killer，两下就给人杀掉，闲掉。。本来打应要跟人家去看日出的，结果不小心睡去。。放了人家飞机。。哈哈。。

第二天早上，闲闲酱起身，suis on了一下，就精神起来，准备坐van绕岛。。哈哈。。第一个地点-灵慈宫。走走下，又去到海边，赶紧拍了几张照。。

Next。。去到福临宫。拜拜一下，许许愿，然后又拍拍照！

Last stop。。荷兰村。。

大约1点，我们就回到码头，等待回宿舍的时候了。。。伤心喂。。。不过拍全体照还是要开心点啦。。。嘻嘻怎料，会去路途上还遇到大塞车，搞得连makcik的晚餐都miss了（其实很开心！哈哈！），结果去到新巴黎吃dinner。。桌上的料没有两下就给人扫光光了。。唉。。

吃了晚餐后，也就代表我们这次cc pangkor trip 正式结束！在这里要特别感谢organiser们和一起去trip的大伙儿们，谢谢你们为我带来这么美好的回忆！！
